The Island Inn on Martha's Vineyard

We stayed in a suite at the Island Inn Hotel for 3 nights, and it was a delightful experience. The room was clean and well-equipped with all necessary kitchen supplies. Although we encountered an issue with the water not flowing properly in the bathroom sink, a quick call to the front desk resulted in Kevin fixing it the next day. The hotel boasts a spacious area with golf fields, tennis courts, playgrounds featuring games like cornhole, and a fantastic restaurant and bar. We particularly enjoyed the DJ entertainment on the weekend we were there. Additionally, the option to set up fires and barbecues in the yard added to the cozy atmosphere, and we loved having our breakfasts and lunches on the benches outside in the beautiful yard. Located in Oak Bluffs, the hotel is within walking distance from the city center, where you'll find numerous restaurants, ice cream parlors, and shops. Several public beaches are also within walking distance or accessible via bike, making it an ideal location for exploring Martha's Vineyard. We highly recommend the Island Inn Hotel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Had a great weekend stay at Island Inn, MV. Room rate was great, so many amenities there, very quiet in the fall and the room was comfy. All the staff are friendly and very helpful. Loved it there. I’ll be staying there again for sure.

For years an off-season (MV Fishing Derby, quieter time of year) go-to place for us and very easy and casual . Back from the road so somewhat secluded. Tennis, pool, firepits in the yard, first floor units - some dog-friendly for added$. Nice casual restaurant abutting called Noman’s open during season. Bike/walk trail out front, minutes to beach & town.

Stayed in room 39G during a writer's workshop. It was immaculate. Great AC. Good fans. Fridge and stove and microwave were all in good condition. But the Inn grounds itself are what set it apart. I went for many morning runs to see the sunrise an its location can't be beat. It is a bit of a trek if you want to walk into Oak Bluffs so keep that in mind.

When we arrived, the rooms are very neat and tidy. We stayed there for 4 days and the staff are very accommodating, we had to check in late because of our ferry schedule and they still let us check in. Upon check out, we asked if we can stay for 2 more hours because one of us needs to stay for work, and staff are very nice to allow us without fees. The place is quiet, no complains at night. They are renovating the place during day time due to upcoming summer season but that doesn’t bother us with the stay. Highly recommend ⭐

We booked 4 Units for my family for a reunion. The rooms are exactly as shown in pictures and a great place to stay for a Vineyard vacation. The staff were great and always willing to help. The Island Inn is convenient to the bike path, free bus loop and within walking distance of Oak Bluffs.

The Island Inn is a wonderful place to stay. The location is great, with plenty of parking, steps to the MV bus line, and just minutes away from beaches and Oak Bluffs. The property itself is perfect for everyone (families, couples etc.,) including pets. There are tennis courts, a play ground, outdoor pool, everything you could need. It is maintained very well and is exceptionally clean. The unit we stayed in was perfect for us ( 3 adults and 2 teens), it was spotless, spacious, and well appointed. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We will certainly stay here again.

I stayed two nights while on a work trip in October. I couldn't believe how much space there was for the price, it was very well stocked and very comfortable. My colleague and I had separate areas for sleep, and 1.5 bathrooms was great. Single rooms with beds only at other hotels costs the same or more than this three bed with a living room and full kitchen! I paid $670 for two nights, so $335/night. I was also able to access the room through a code via email after the office closed without ever having to check in. That was great for my very tight schedule. Everyone was very nice and helpful over the phone, through email, and through text. It's within walking distance to beaches. I walked into Oak Bluffs in the morning for breakfast that I took to the beach to eat while I read my book. I was able to leave my luggage in the luggage shed after checkout. It was also fun to walk right over to Noman's Bar on Friday night. When I got home I told my husband we should come back to this spot next year for vacation! Definitely recommend and would stay again.
